Brow Lift|
A brow lift procedure can make the face look younger and more rejuvenated, diminishing the visibility of wrinkles and giving a more refreshed look to it. The purpose of a brow lift is to give more definition to the shape and position of the eyebrows and help correct the view of wrinkles on the forehead as well as the upper eyelid skin. Some popular procedures that are often performed in conjunction with the brow lift are facelift and blepharoplasty. Our surgeons are qualified in performing a range of brow lift techniques, including traditional open browlift, minimal incision lateral brow lift and endoscopic brow lift techniques.

Recovery
Most patients are back to work in approximately 10 – 14 days when swelling and bruising resolves. We advise our patients to avoid strenuous activity for 1 month. Recovery will be longer if the brow lift is done as a part of eyelid surgery or facelift
Results
Final results are seen 3 months, and the duration of those results vary from one person to another due to the quality of their skin, ageing and weight changes, but typically expect results to last 10 years.
What Can Brow Lift Do For You?
Many patients struggle with having “tired” looks because of the features of their eyebrow and eye area. The brow lift can make your face look more elevated and refreshed.
Below is a list of some benefits that arise from the brow lift procedure:
- Elevate a drooping brow
- Improve horizontal forehead wrinkles
- Reposition and create a more sculpted arched brow
- Improve brow symmetry
- Reduce excess upper eyelid skin by repairing brow ptosis
- Give the face a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance
Are You An Ideal Candidate?
Men and women in good health aged between 40 – 60 years old who have developed furrows or wrinkles and a low or sagging brow are suitable candidates for this procedure.
A brow lift is also ideal for those who have vision problems because of the obstruction caused by lower brow and excessive upper eyelid laxity. To help correct these problems, a brow lift is often done in combination with blepharoplasty.
Risks Associated With The Brow Lift Procedure
As for any surgical procedure, it is important to have a prior consultation with your surgeon about the process, expectations, options, browlift techniques available and possible complications. Your surgeon will take routine photographs in the course of examination.
For the brow lift, our surgeons will assess different individual aspects of your face, including hairline position, eyebrow shape and symmetry, skin quality, eyelids position (skin and fat component), underlying muscle activity and the bone structure. This is important to gain an understanding whether the procedure is right for you and how the techniques may be tailored to achieve your beauty and aesthetic goals.
